Synopsis
This lesson introduces students to different forms of energy through movements, celebratory dancing, and reading. Students will learn about how energy is used for many different things, the importance of food as energy, and different types of renewable energy.
Teaching Materials
- Students will enjoy doing the movements that correlate with different types of renewable energy and have fun dancing!
- Consider borrowing the book from the library and reading it to students in small groups so they can all spend time looking at the pictures.
- Have students explore the classroom in groups with a list of items to find or set up stations in the room for students to explore.
